Women’s striped Breton-style shirt knitted in Italy from 100% merino wool, using fine yarn spun by Tollegno 1900 in Biella. Lightweight and thermoregulating, it offers natural warmth while remaining breathable across seasons.
Cut in our signature relaxed silhouette with a boat neckline and softly elongated sleeves, it balances generous volume with a refined, fluid structure. The chalk white base with faded navy breton stripes creates a confident yet understated contrast.
Each piece is handmade in Venice, finished with hand embroidery and limited to just 99 pieces — a contemporary interpretation of the classic marinière, designed for effortless presence.

Yarn & Care
Yarn & Care
We craft our Breton Shirts in Italy using a manual loom, ensuring each piece is meticulously knitted rather than cut from pre-printed fabric. Every sweater is made by skilled artisans, using over 2.5 kilometers of raw yarn, preserving the authenticity of traditional craftsmanship.
To keep your Breton Shirt looking its best, hand wash or machine wash at 30°C, then hang to dry. If needed, iron inside out or use steam to remove creases.

A Certain Way to Wear It
There’s a certain way to wear it.
Not rigid. Not nostalgic.
Slightly undone, but deliberate.
Edition 07 feels at ease between the Mediterranean coast and Paris — less holiday, more attitude.
Morning light cutting across wide boulevards. A French Work Jacket resting on the shoulders on the way to a Sunday market, espresso in hand, newspapers folded under the arm. Underneath, Breton stripes — the quiet kind — breaking the silhouette with a familiar rhythm.
Later, an opening in a gallery-lined district. Conversations held close. Cuffs folded back without ceremony. A long table in a discreet bistrot where the room is understated and the people are not.
And sometimes, a Vespa leaving the city just before sunset — the jacket catching the wind, the Breton effortless against the movement.
It moves easily through the creative quarters, onto warm pavement, into salt air, or out beyond the périphérique where the road opens and the light changes.
It’s the kind of collection that works in motion as much as at rest.
Effortless, but intentional.
Relaxed, but precise.
Parisian in spirit.
Distressed only where it matters.
The Breton Shirt, Reworked
We took the classic marinière — also known as the Breton shirt — and completely rethought it from a fashion perspective.
Not just lighter. Not just more comfortable.
But redesigned with proportions you won’t find anywhere else.
The stripes remain, yet the silhouette changes — a looser cut, a gently widened boat neckline, and a relaxed oversized fit that moves away from the rigidity of the traditional sailor shirt.
Crafted in 100% merino wool, the fabric is breathable and thermoregulating, offering warmth without weight and exceptional softness directly on the skin
.Familiar in spirit, redesigned in everything else.
100% Premium Merino Wool from Italy
For Edition 07, we selected 100% merino yarn spun by Tollegno 1900 in Biella — a mill recognised for its precision and consistency at the highest level of wool spinning.
What sets fine merino apart isn’t only softness.
It’s behaviour.
It responds to temperature, retains warmth without trapping heat, and remains breathable as conditions shift.
It feels substantial without weight.
Structured, yet fluid.
Worn directly on the skin, it is unexpectedly smooth — nothing rigid, nothing heavy.
The result is a fabric that feels intentional and controlled.
In a piece where proportions are reworked and the silhouette is deliberately oversized, the material cannot be secondary.
It must align with the same vision.
We choose it for one reason: when a garment relies on cut, proportion, and everyday versatility, the fabric must rise to that standard.
A considered fibre, selected for pieces designed to move across seasons — and across occasions.
Why Only 99 Pieces
Limiting each collection to 99 pieces is a choice, not a gimmick. Producing in small numbers allows us to focus on quality at a level that isn’t possible with volume — no shortcuts, no overstock, no pieces waiting to be discounted. What we make is exactly what we stand behind, and the price you see is the price it will always be. When you find your number on the label, you’re holding one of only 99 pieces created with that intention.
Knitted Near Venice
Our Breton Shirts come from just outside Venice, from a place where certain things are still done with intent.
We chose a small family workshop not for romance, but for the way they work: measured, exact, and uninterested in shortcuts.
There’s no mythology, no folklore — just people who know their craft and let the results speak.
The result is a piece shaped by people who take their time, work with intention, and pay attention to the details that define everything else.
